The 2020 vintage was marked by fluctuating weather conditions from the outset, which nonetheless offered the potential for exceptional wines. A cool spring delayed bud break, but the subsequent summer heat led to rapid and even grape ripening. Late summer provided plenty of sunshine and cool nights, which imparted fresh acidity and concentration to the grapes. This resulted in a fully ripe harvest with high grape gradation.
